The music production company Bandeira 8 – having over 20 film tracks to its credit – started its activities in 2006. It was created by Fabio Mondego, Fael Mondego, and Marco Tommaso to sign the soundtrack of the movie "Meu nome não é Johnny" (My name is not Johnny), in partnership with the film’s director, Mauro Lima. This movie received, among other awards, Best Original Soundtrack from the Brazilian Academy of Cinema.  The industry’s doors were opened, and the work started.

"We enjoy the art of transforming and enriching the scenes through music. It is a pleasure to watch how the soundtrack helps to bring smiles and tears to an audience, how it amplifies emotions in a movie theater. This is our job."
